The literature describes medication errors as a serious public health problem with an impact from the healthcare, human and economic point of view; a difficulty in which improvement strategies for patient safety must be considered.The correct administration of medications in general and of injectable antimicrobials in particular is of vital importance to achieve therapeutic success and reduce possible adverse effects related to administration.AdmiMécum Injectable Antimicrobials was motivated by the concern of pharmaceutical professionals specialized in hospital pharmacy after observing various difficulties in the administration of medications in daily practice, with the conviction of being able to provide a tool that allows improving the safe administration for patients and facilitating the daily work of health professionals.The main objectives of the app are:• Facilitate the calculation for the volume of dilution in the appropriate solvent• Warn about the maximum dose per dose described in the bibliography.• Inform of specific care in the administration• Provide information about the mode of conservation of both the commercial presentation, as well as the reconstituted and diluted ones.
